Bear Theme Party 9 - Clearing Up

The party is over and the inevitable comes: clearing up your house.(If you don't want the clean up, search for the many party venues available for booking all over Singapore!)
The trick is to use non-permanent tapes or easily removed adhesives like 3m mounting tape. When doing crafts, kids (being kids) is going to accidentally dirty the tables so do protect them with plastic if you using your house furniture. The rest is just the usual mopping and wiping.

We had a great time in Dubai! Feel free to email us by going to our website at http://www.kidsparty.com.sg/ to let us help you organise any theme parties!

Bear Theme Party 8 - Bear Making Workshop!

Bear making workshop is the core event of the party! Each kid is given a bear which they have to:
  • decorate the T-shirt that the bear is wearing
  • put the fluff into bear and stitch it up
  • make a wish and put a heart into the bear
  • fill in their own bear certificate
Names of the bears in case some need help with them....

Bear Theme Party 5 - Decorations

Invitations with their guest's own drawings...
Bears trying to get up the top of the tree. (Actually there's some spots on the wall and we try to cover them up with balloons too!)

Bears welcoming guests near the entrance.

At the door...

Bear directional signs....

Another bear directional sign...

Welcome!Bears are invited of course!

I love this one the best! Made of felt, the letters are pasted on the wall by Birthday Girl, Kyana herself! (Noticed the chocolate stain beside one of the paws? She was eating chocolate when she's doing that!)

Bear thank you cards for the "hunt" and decoration as well! (Along the corridor into the party hall.)

Stickers on the wall (background)

The only thing I probably would have done to improve the decorations is to get helium balloons which can fill up the space with lots of colours! (Unfortunately, we don't have any helium balloons.)

Bear Theme Party 4 - Having Fun

When you are organising a party, don't think of it as chore! We, as Mr Bottle's Kids Party just love and enjoy the process of organising one! This can only make your party better!
Get your kids involved in helping doing the decorations, writing the invites, or even preparing the food! Don't leave out the siblings. Make sure their participation is important and do praise them for their efforts!
Since the bear theme party is in Dubai, we took time off to have a very good vacation and here are some fun shots! (You must visit the Desert Safari and Burj Khalifa when you are there!)

Bear Theme Party 3 - Invitations

The birthday girl is actually the one who requested for a bear party and she loves drawing! Hence we used one of her drawings to create a "Bear Pass" (invitation) for her party!
The kids are to fill in the blank with their own bears and the passes will be collected and put on display when they come. The kids are also allowed to bring a "bear friend" to the party.

Bear Theme Party 2 - Customising the show

Mr Bottle customised his magic show to the bear theme. We did some research and try our best to work around a bear theme using the existing magic to minimise cost. We made a bear appear, we use honey. (We brought the bottles to Dubai and then fill them up with honey bought in a supermarket there.)

Bear Theme Party in Dubai

For the next few weeks, we will bring you to behind the scenes as well as ideas on how we organised a bear theme party in Dubai. It's a good thing that Dubai is a very cosmopolitian city, meaning we can get all kinds of international brands and supplies there.

We brought along a box of magic equipment and 2 boxes of party supplies, including the bear workshop items as well as decorations!
Here we go!
